"Love one another as I have loved you."
John 15:12

"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
Matthew 25:40

"Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."
St. Francis of Assisi

"Extend mercy toward others, so that there can be no one in need whom you meet without helping.
For what hope is there for us if GOD should withdraw His mercy from us?"
St. Vincent de Paul

"[The goal of the Society] was not to help the poor. This was only a means. Our object was by the practice of Charity to strengthen ourselves in the Faith, and to win others for it...Personal perfection and not the eradication of poverty per se is the primary goal of the society."

Blessed Antoine-Frederic Ozanam

THANK YOU!

We would like to acknowledge the following significant contributions:

AUGUST -       $2000. from an anonymous donor.
SEPTEMBER - $5000. from an anonymous donor.
                             $8000. from OLOH.

We would especially like to thank Fr. John Kiley, the OLOH Pastoral Council, and the OLOH Finance Council for providing the $8000. grant.  The SVDP Society had been experiencing an unhealthy lack of funds and was on the verge of cutting back services to those in need in our community.  These grants allow us to continue our Corporal Works of Mercy.

Thank You!
