"Love one another as I have loved you."
John 15:12

"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
Matthew 25:40

"Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."
St. Francis of Assisi

"Extend mercy toward others, so that there can be no one in need whom you meet without helping.
For what hope is there for us if GOD should withdraw His mercy from us?"
St. Vincent de Paul

"[The goal of the Society] was not to help the poor. This was only a means. Our object was by the practice of Charity to strengthen ourselves in the Faith, and to win others for it...Personal perfection and not the eradication of poverty per se is the primary goal of the society."

Blessed Antoine-Frederic Ozanam

SUPPORT

You can help in three ways:

1. VOLUNTEER - If you can attend a 2 hour meeting once a month, and provide a couple of hours of service a month, we can use your help! There isn't a lot of committment, but there is a lot of satisfaction in helping those less fortunate. In addition, there are special projects (i.e., Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, Christmas flowers for the elderly, Mass of Annointing, etc.) where you can become involved. A little effort collectively goes a long way!

2. CONTRIBUTE - 100% of our donated money goes to the poor. As you can see from the monthly figures, the need is great and everything available is committed. Contributions can be left in the "Poor Boxes" at the rear of the Church, or sent to the rectory for SVDP.

3. PRAY - Without prayer, we are just another nice social service agency working with the poor. Prayer joins us to Christ and His Church, and fulfills his command to love GOD and neighbor. Please dedicate a portion of each day to pray for our clients, members, contributors and the Church.

THANK YOU FOR WHATEVER ASSISTANCE YOU CAN PROVIDE!
